Welcome!

First of all, we at Hamlet Model Buildings would like to welcome you to our online store.

This is where we will be making regular updates to keep you informed with all the news and new releases that we are offering.

 Introducing Hamlet Model Buildings
Hamlet Model Buildings is literally a cottage industry that prides itself on the construction of ready-made building models and terrain pieces for the 6mm wargamer -1:285 and 1:300 scale-, for the 'Z' Gauge railway enthusiast or just someone who likes model buildings. The advantage of such terrain pieces is that as soon as they have been taken out of the packaging they are ready for use on your wargames table or railway layout.

Sturdily constructed and weighted to combat the rigours of wargaming, each of the hand crafted items is probably unique even within the same dimensions and is painted in a variety of pastel colours and shades dependant on location. Buildings from rural areas tend to be in the same colours, varying only by locale, but in towns, where people are perhaps more affluent and individualistic, this is reflected in the use of different colours.

Walls can be painted to represent brick, render, shiplap, wood or even a combination; roof colours can also be painted as slate, tile, or wooden shingles as per client specification. Specific models of historical buildings will follow the same style as the original. The bases of the display models have been deliberately painted in a bright green purely to accentuate the building itself, usually the base will be painted in an earthen colour.

For commissions, bespoke buildings, or anyhting else for that matter, please do not hesitate to  contact us on hamletmodelbuilds@gmail.com

Thank you for your interest.
